characteristics of graphs

Domain: x-values (left and right)
Range: y-values (up and down)

End behavior: discribing the ends of an equation
     (UP) y -> infinity (DOWN) y -> negative infinity

Absolute max-min: point that shighest or lowest on a graph
Local max/min: more than one point lowest/highest on a graph (x,y)
Interval  of increase: section of the graph where y-values increase (discribe in parenthesise)
Interval of decrease: section of the graph where y-values decrease (" " ")
X Intercept: (A,0)
Y Intercept: (0,B)
Symmetry: when you can fold a graph in half and it'll be the same.

Even /Odd /Niether: even-semetric of the y-axis. odd-semetric on the origin. neither-when the graph isnt semetric to the y-axis on the origin.

Asymptotes: imaginary line that the graph gets closer and closer to but never touches.

Functions: passes vertical line test

One to One: passes vertical and horizontal line test
